What is the CETOP?

 
The Association of "Enginyers Tècnics d'Obres Públiques" of Catalonia (CETOP), which includes among its members more than a thousand of Engineers, is a public law corporation with legal personality and full capacity and autonomy to carry out its purposes and exercise its functions.

At the Annual General Assembly of the members of  CETOP's Catalonia area, celebrated in October 24th of 1987, they agreed unanimously to apply the second transitional provision of Law 13/1982 of the Generalitat de Catalunya, of 17 December, and initiate the legal proceedings to constitute the CETOP of Catalonia, constitution which was approved by Decree 14/1991, of January 22, of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC number 1409 of 20/02/1991).

The CETOP's regulation was governed by its Bylaws,  adjusted to the autonomic Law 7/2006, of May 31 of the year of certified professions and professional associations (DOGC. 4651 of 06/09/06), which were approved at Assembly Extraordinary by March 3, 2009. These Bylaws modify others previously approved.

The territorial area of the CETOP encompasses all of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia
